Practical

Date

The Pinksterlanddagen (or PL for short) takes place every year in the weekend of pentecost (the christian holy day). In 2026 that’s the 23rd, 24th and 25th of may.
The main program is on Saturday and Sunday, you can arrive on Friday afternoon and stay untill Monday morning after we clean the terrain together.

Location

The Pinksterlanddagen take place on  campsite ‘tot Vrijheidsbezinning’, Aekingaweg 1a in Appelscha, the Netherlands.

Crew only

At the PL we don’t have visitors and crew. As anarchist we can expect from ourselves and eachother that we all do our part.
Ofcourse there’s an organising group who arrange everything and keep oversight. But they can’t do anything if everyone else just comes as a consumer. So do stuff! Organise a workshop or share the promo beforehand. But most important is during the weekend itself: help out. at the infostand you’ll find a list of shifts you can take at the canteen, or what needs to be cleaned, and stuff like that.

How to get there

You can get there by public transport. A bus to Appelscha goes from the trainstations in Assen and Heerenveen.
If you come by car there’s a parking terrain outside the campsite.

Costs

To keep it accessible for everyone we ask for a donation. However, tourist tax, some travel and other expenses for workshops and organisation, trash and other stuff do cost money. So if you can, please donate.
Donating more to compensate for those who can’t is always welcome. You can do this at the entrance/infostand.

Food and drinks

We have a canteen where some food and drinks are sold. There’s a small shop with bread and spreads. Everything is vegan, organic where possible, and not too expensive.

Dinner (and oftentimes lunch) will be taken care of by Rampenplan, an experienced action-kitchen who have been giving us great vegan and organic food since the early 80’s.

Foodtickets for dinner will be available at the infostand. They are sliding scale €4-8, the costprice is somewhere in the middle so please be honest.

Kids

The Pinksterlanddagen are certainly fun for kids too! There’s a kids program for different ages, there’s a playground and the surroundings are quiet and green.

A-team

The A is for Awareness. If you run into trouble with someone else at the terrain, you can ask the A-team for help. They will check in with you and see what needs to happen to deal with the situation. Or, if that’s what’s needed, lend a confidential ear.
In the info-booklet and posted on the infostand there will be a phone number to reach them. Or ask for the A-team at the infostand.
If you want to contact them before the PL, you can do so through PL[at]puscii.nl.

Groundrules during the PL

  • The PL is only possible if everybody helps out. You can help out by cleaning up, giving a workshop, helping in the kitchen, doing the dishes, making radio, singing a song and many other ways.
  • The campsite is next to anarchist also anti-militarist and alcohol and drug free. We expect the visitors to respect this.
  • Leave dogs at home, unless they are service dogs ofcourse.
  • No cars on the campsite
  • Bring your own tent and sleeping gear! Campervans are also welcome, but space is not endless.
