The Pinksterlanddagen (or PL for short) takes place every year in the weekend of pentecost (the christian holy day), in the end of May or the beginning of June. The program is on Saturday and Sunday, you can arrive on Friday and stay untill Monday morning.

Location

The Pinksterlanddagen take place on  campsite ‘tot Vrijheidsbezinning’, Aekingaweg 1a in Appelscha, the Netherlands.

How to get there

The Pinksterlanddagen are being held on the camping Kampeerterrein tot Vrijheidsbezinning in Appelscha, Aekingaweg 1a, 8426GN Appelscha (Friesland).
There is space to park your car.
If you are coming by public transport, take bus 15 or 19 from the trainstation of Assen. Get of the bus in Appelscha at Cafe Hulst. From there it’s a 10 minute walk.
If you come from Leeuwarden, take bus 14 to Oosterwolde and from there bus 15 or 19  toAppelscha, get off at Cafe Hulst. From there it’s a 10 minute walk, follow the signs. Check this info and plan your journey on www.9292.nl.
The bustimes in this region are very irregular, even more so because Pentecost (Pinksteren) is a holiday and therefore the timetables change. Don’t forget to plan your trip back in advance too.

Costs

We suggest a donation of 20 euros for the whole weekend, or 12,50 euro for a single day.

Food during the PL

Hot meals in the evening will be provided against additional (low) cost. There is also a canteen where you can get sandwiches, cake, coffee, tea and other food items. Everything is vegan and organic.

Groundrules during the PL

  • The PL is only possible if everybody helps out. You can help out by cleaning up, giving a workshop, helping in the kitchen, doing the dishes, making radio, singing a song and many other ways.
  • The campsite is next to anarchist also anti-militarist and alcohol and drug free. We expect the visitors to respect this.
  • Leave dogs at home
  • No cars on the campsite
  • Bring your own tent and sleeping gear!
