Stroomversnellers: Can Anger Fuel Our Activism?

Within our culture, anger is often repressed, or expressed in destructive ways. In this 90 minute workshop, we will reflect on different kinds of anger, and talk about anti-racist Lordean Rage as an anger that fuels activism is a productive, apt, and just way. It is a workshop – it will be interactive, and we assume the people attending are willing – to an extent – to share their thoughts and feelings.
Winnie is a climate justice activist and student at the University of Amsterdam where her academic focus lies on political psychology, social movements and susceptibility to eco-nationalist ideology. She is currently doing an internship with Stroomversnellers where she is applying her activist experience into a different framework and is constructing the “Under the Weather: Climate Breakdown and Emotions” workshop together with Harriët.
